Release Chronic Pain
A hopeful, practical workshop for people living with persistent pain in Harpenden and across Hertfordshire. Using the remarkable OldPain2Go® approach, we work with the way your mind and body talk to each other, helping you turn down pain that has long outstayed its welcome.

When pain has done its job, but will not stop
Pain is the body's alarm. It is meant to warn us, then quieten once the danger has passed. With persistent pain, that alarm sometimes keeps ringing long after the original message has been received.
This workshop introduces OldPain2Go®, a gentle, well-regarded approach that works with the mind's own pain-management system. We explain, in plain language, the difference between useful pain and pain that has simply become a habit of the nervous system. There is no pushing, no willpower battle and nothing frightening. Instead, you are guided to communicate with the part of you that holds the pain, inviting it to update its message. Many people experience a real reduction in the same session. We finish with a deeply relaxing experience and simple tools to support you afterwards.
